From 13th–16th April 2025, MU-JHU Care Ltd Executive Director Prof. Philippa Musoke and Director of Strategic Planning and Partnerships Denis Akakimpa visited program sites in Dokolo, Pader and Kitgum. These districts are part of the Global-TASO AGYW Program, launched in August 2024 to support adolescent girls and young women (ages 10–24) with HIV prevention, reproductive health education, economic skills, and better access to healthcare. During their visit they met with the youth, local leaders, partners, and community members to hear firsthand how the program is changing lives. Their presence reaffirmed MU-JHU’s commitment to supporting girls and young women to lead safe, healthy, and empowered lives.
