Description & Purpose:
The successful persons, after training and delegation of duties, will be responsible for handling of study drugs and pharmacy related documentation and administrative duties required for a research pharmacy.
Required qualifications and profile:
A degree in Pharmacy with at least 2 years’ working experience in a busy pharmaceutical setup. Research related experience and current GCP/HSP certification is highly desirable. We seek a motivated professional who is able and willing to learn quickly, has good organisational skills, able to multitask and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The holder of this position will work under the direct supervision of the Head of Pharmacy with guidance from the Clinic Division Director, and will be responsible for the following duties:

Description and purpose:
The successful person will be responsible for management of Investigational Medicinal Products and concomitant medications including preparation and dispensing of Intravenous Medications, ensuring smooth research dispensing room operations and supervision of the dispensing room team at MU-JHU Recruitment sites for the NeoSep1 trial.
Required qualifications and experience:
A Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 2 years’ working experience in a similar position within a busy research institution. Priority will be given to applicants with previous working experience in a multi-disciplinary, HIV/AIDS medical research or program set-up. Basic computer skills are required. Previous work exposure in an HIV/AIDS related center or Research facility will be considered an added advantage.
The holder of this position will work under the supervision of the Lead Pharmacist and will be responsible for the following duties:
• Stock Management (includes forecast/ requisition/ stocking/ storage/ verification/preparation/dispensing and issuing of medications)
• Oversee maintenance of dispensing room and equipment therein
• Supervision and training of the study dispensing room staff
• Enforcing general internal drug policies and procedures
• Preparation of reports on dispensing room activities
