Description & Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of staff, visitors, and organizational materials while ensuring proper operation, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance of MU-JHU vehicles. The successful candidate will adhere to the organization’s Motor Vehicle Policy, Road Safety Act, and all applicable traffic regulations.
Required qualifications, experience and attributes:
Uganda Certificate of Education (O-Level) with a valid Ugandan driving permit (Classes B, CM, DL and DM). Certificate in defensive driving or basic transport management. Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience in a medical research environment or corporate organizations. A valid motorcycle permit (Class A) is an added advantage. Excellent communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
