Members of our CRS unit attended the 2024 HPTN Annual Meeting and emersed themselves in the engaging activities. Our entourage included  CRS Leader Dr. Clemensia Nakabiito, Dr. Brenda Gati Mirembe, Juliane Etima,  Brenda Kakayi, Dr. Phionah Kibalama Ssemambo, Dr. Zubair Lukyamuzi, Dr. Rita Nakalega, Dr. Joel Maena, Dr. Sheila Bamweyana, Teopista Nakayazi, Doreen Kemigisha, Hassan Ssemere and or CAB Vice Chairperson Joanita Kawalya Muganga.

During the HPTN Scholar Plenary held on Sunday 16th June 2024, Dr. Ssemambo gave an oral presentation titled, Correlates of Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptive Use Among Young Women in Southern Africa (HPTN 082)   this was followed by another presentation from our team on Monday 17th June. Dr. Lukyamuzi opened up the third session called,  Using the Prevention Toolbox,  with an oral presentation titled, “Reaching Men: HPTN 111(TRIM)”.
