Regulatory Affairs Coordinator, Maria Musisi was awarded the “Bio Ethics Award“ at the 7th ANREC Meeting . The Annual National Bio-ethics Award recognizes outstanding individual contribution of Ugandan men and women towards the advancement of bio-ethics and protection research participants in Uganda. The selection process involved a call for nominations and selection of winners on the basis of the following criteria: advocacy, training and mentorship, attendance or facilitation and contribution at ethics meetings, setting standards, publications and integrity. Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) awards outstanding contribution to research ethics in Uganda on annual basis. “
