August 23, 2024

On 22nd August 2024 we were at the Kitebi Health Center III with a number of health care workers, drug shop owners, local leaders and women at risk of HIV.  During this meeting we shared an overview of our new study, DROP-D, which starts in September 2024. We also discussed at length;

1. Community knowledge and perceptions of oral PrEP
2. Expected community partnerships in and around Kitebi
3. The study design

The study seeks to bring oral PrEP services closer to at-risk-women through community drug shops.
