On Thursday 24th February 2022, the Birth Defects(BD)team had the pleasure of hosting the new CDC Uganda Health Service Branch Chief, Dr Emilio Dirlikov. Our Maama/Papa dance troupe kicked off his visit with a highly energized Bakisimba dance which set the tone for his orientation of MU-JHU and the BD Surveillance project. He later received a tour of the hospital operations in Kawempe. To cap it all off, the team had a strategic discussion on the future of the project. Kudos to the BD team
