It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Joseph Ouma. This occurred in the early morning of 2nd September 2023.
Joseph was an integral part of our MU-JHU family, and his contribution to our multidisciplinary team was invaluable. He joined MU-JHU in 2018 as a Data Manager/Biostatistician under the Quality Management division. Here he led the team of Data Managers and Data Technicians. Joesph’s dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to his work touched the lives of everyone they interacted with. He made a significant impact on our organization and left an indelible mark on each of us. As described by one of his Supervisors, Dr. Irene Lubega, during the requiem mass on Sunday 3rd September 2023, “Joseph was a fine man”.
During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Joseph Ouma’s family and loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this profound loss.
Joseph Ouma will forever remain a part of our MU-JHU family.
